Review : "August 15".

Fifteen years back, Sibi Malayil directed "August 1" movie's, character "Perumal" is coming again. Shaji Kailas directed malayalam movie "August 15" is the movie in which "Perumaal's" character summarised by Megastar Mammootty . His motive in the second part, again same as in the first part to save the Chief Minister.

                          
                            Director Shaji Kailas came with the thriller, Pradeep Nair's Cinematography shows the feel of the movie. Mammootty as Crime Branch Officer, Siddique wants to kill Chief Minister portrayed by Nadumudi Venu, Story revolves around how perumal save Chief Minister from the clutches of antagonist. Shweta Menon perform the character of a Doctor, Lalu Alex as DGP, Meghna Raj enact the Police Officer with cyber cell. Sai Kumar manage the character of State Secretary of a Political Party. Madhu as Senior Doctor. Biju Pappan, Balachandran Chullikad, Thalaivasal Vijay also perform their best in this malayalam movie "August 15".

               Movie is produced by M.Mani under the banner of Sunitha Productions, Same team repeated after the movie "Drona", which bombed at box office. Story is written by non other than super script writer S.N.Swamy. Aroma Release distributed this movie all over kerala and world wide.
