Review : "Shankaranum Mohananum".
"Shankaranum Mohananum" as the name suggest some perfect match up and it is the match up of Two Brothers, one dead and one alive. However it looks some patchy with the story goes on, but Director T.V.Chandran managed it well to gave it a look in his first commercial movie.
This film goes on with the character Mohana Krishnan enacted by Jayasurya, fashion photographer by profession and shifted from Mumbai to Kochi for his living. On the other part His elder brother Shankaran also performed by Jayasurya, who was teacher in a school and married to younger to his age named Rajalakshmi summarised by Meera Nandan. Mohanakrishnan was living separately from his wife Jyotsna Mathew done by Reema Kallungal residing in Mumbai for her career in acting with her child. As story goes on with the twist between brothers, but the fate was different for both the brothers, As elder brother Shankaran got died of Snake bite after few days of his wedding. Then start the problems for the Mohanakrishnan as he came on face to face with the soul of his brother Shankaran in many ways and different get ups. Shankaran's love for his wife and his brothers life problem was the reason behind the soul of Shankaran get behind Mohana Krishnan. All and all it looks some strange happening around whole family and it unveil the bond between brother and relationship between husband and wife.
Jayasurya came with another good performance with this movie. Other stars include Suraaj Venjharamoodu, Lalu Alex, Indranse, Bijukuttan, Sudheesh, Ambika, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Roselin, Kochupreman and other leading stars of the malayalam cinema can be seen in this malayalam movie "Shankaranum Mohananum".
