Review : "Kammath & Kammath"

"Kammath & Kammath" shows no prospects of a good script, rather its star value used to wrap up the things in a mess. Thomson's direction doesn't show any progress, meanwhile for a comedy matter, you can zoom on your time for this one. On a wink note, "Kammath & Kammath" is for the fans of Mammootty and Dileep...

Raja Raja Kammath (Mammootty) and Deva Raja Kammath (Dileep) forms the basic plot of this Kammath brothers saga. they speak it in Konkani accent and owns a chain of restaurants in kerala. Now as part of their expansion
plan, both decide to open their new restaurant in Palakkad. To save himself from the adverse effect of Kammath brother's new plan, a restaurant owner oppose their decision, which was later solved out with the help of a local politician.

As the things move on to the renovation of their new restaurant, some misconception with Municipal secretary Mahalakshmi (Rima Kallingal), led to another disrupt to their plans. After compromising on the Municipal issues, activities shift to Mahalakshmi's sister Sree Rekha (Karthika Nair) for which Kammath brothers dived into matter to protect her. Now the action and love, swap the position of earlier issues of revolving around a restaurant, which will led to the rest of this "Kammath and Kammath".

Udayakrishna and Siby K.Thomas performed all the tricks under the shadow of star status and their script was no fluke. Director Thomson made the things more silly with the kind of script he get and just count on the burden to the stars. Anil Nair takes the frames in a good level and Editing doesn't go well with Mahesh Narayanan.

Mammootty as usual with his rendering style managed the character in a nice way, same goes for the Dileep as compared to his character. Most of all, ugly duckling was Baburaj, who cracks some fun with his dialogues and deserves the character. Narain, Rima Kallingal, Karthika Nair, Suraaj Venjharamoodu and others have made it to their characters. Songs are fine with the touch of M.Jayachandran and Santhosh Varma.
