"Orissa" : Love, back to the past...!

M.Padmakumar's malayalam film Orissa
Director M.Padmakumar directing latest malayalam movie is "Orissa", which will have the backdrop of Orissa, where the love affair between a Oriyan girl and a Malayali boy blossoms, it all occurs 25 years ago. It will altogether a different approach from the director M.Padmakumar from his earlier movies.

 This film will present a new heroine Saanika Nambiar, who had acted as child artiste in Mohanlal starrer "Oympian Anthony Adam". Director
was looking for a fresh face in this project, where his search end at the stage of Miss Kerala competition, where Saanika Nambiar was a contestant. This film also discuss the atrocities against the women on that period.

 G.S.Anil scripted this malayalam film will have Unni Mukundan in the lead role, while Kaniha would also do the major character. Vinod Illampilly will crank the camera, on the other Sajith Unnikrishnan will cut the reels. Kumar Edappal has the tough times to prepare the costumes regarding that decade.

 Heera Films banner, Madhavan Chattikkal producing this Malayalam film "Orissa" has got the tunes from the hands of Ratheesh Vegha with the lyrics will be penned by Aalankode Leelakrishnan. Background score performed by Issac Thomas Kottukapilly, Production Controller is Alex Kurien.
